The Nexzu Roadlark is an electric cycle from a Mumbai-based manufacturer. It comes in three variants, based on the battery capacity, including 5.2Ah, 8.7Ah, and 14.5Ah options. We got the Nexzu Roadlark electric cycle for a review and here’s what we think.
Prices for the electric cycle start at Rs 32,950 for the 5.2Ah variant and go up to Rs 39,950 for the 14.5Ah variant.
The Roadlark e-cycle is equipped with a 250W BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor linked to dual-battery packs: a 5.2Ah fixed battery and a removable one, available in 5.2Ah, 8.7Ah, and 14.5Ah options. It claims to deliver a range of 37km, 60km and 100km, respectively, in the pedal assist mode. The electric cycle has a range of 75km on throttle mode and a top speed of 25kmph. It charges from 0 to 100 percent in about 3 to 5 hours, depending on the battery variant.
The electric cycle includes features like a horn, an LED headlight and 3 ride/pedal assist modes (Low, Medium and High). The cycle lacks a display, but the switchgear features indication lights that tell the battery level and pedal assist mode.
The e-cycle has a diamond steel frame and a telescopic front fork. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends. It is equipped with 26-inch spoke wheels, wrapped with Ralson block-pattern tube tyres.
