Price: The Bajaj Chetak is available in three variants: 3501, 3502 and 3503. The 3501 is priced at Rs 1,27,243 while the 3502 has a price tag of Rs 1,20,000 (both ex-showroom Bengaluru). The price of the 3503 variant is not available right now. The Bajaj Chetak 3501 has five colour options called Pista Green, Hazelnut, Indigo Metallic, Brooklyn Black and Matte Scarlett Red. The Bajaj Chetak 3502 has four colour options: Indigo Metallic, Brooklyn Black, Matte Charcoal Grey and Cyber White.
Features: The 3501 variant is available with a touchscreen TFT instrument console which shows speedometer, odometer, battery charge levels, trip meter and other regular readouts. Features like reverse mode, self-cancelling blinkers, auto hazard lights and the ability to accept and reject calls from the console are available as standard. By opting for the TecPac package, music control, hill hold, sequential rear blinkers, Guide Me Home lights and display themes are available. With the Annual Data Pack, map-driven navigation, remote immobilization, overspeeding alert with a set top speed, notification alert, trip data and trip analytics, document storage, and geo-fencing can be unlocked. The 3502 is equipped with the same TFT instrument console but doesn’t get touchscreen functionality. In this variant, self-cancelling blinkers are only available with the TecPac option while sequential rear blinkers and document storage are not available at all. The 3502 gets turn-by-turn navigation instead of map-driven navigation with the TecPac option. All three variants have an Eco riding mode while an additional Sports mode is available by opting for the TecPac package. The scooter has an underseat storage space of 35 litres.
Motor: All three variants of the Bajaj Chetak have a 3.5kWh capacity battery pack with a claimed range of 153km. The 3501 variant has a 950W charger that charges the scooter from 0-80% in 3 hours while the charger available with the 3502 variant charges it in 3 hours and 25 minutes. The claimed top speed of the Bajaj Chetak is 73kmph.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Bajaj Chetak has a trailing link front suspension and a monoshock. The 3501 and 3502 variants have a front disc brake and a rear drum brake while the 3503 variant has drum brakes at both ends.
Rivals: The Bajaj Chetak 3501’s rivals are the Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro and the TVS iQube ST while the 3502 rivals the likes of the Ather 450S, Ola S1 Air and the Tvs iQube S.
Range: Chetak can go upto 153 km/charge after a full charge.
