Ducati has unveiled the upcoming 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 and V2 S recently. The bike has undergone a lot of changes to its design, chassis and engine, which will make it more capable than the current Multistrada V2. Here’s everything that has changed.

The bike still maintains the same design language that we have come to associate with the Ducati Multistrada V2. It gets a tall windscreen, a half-faring with a sharp look and twin LED headlights. Overall, the look is similar to the current Multistrada V2 and isn’t a massive upgrade.

In terms of performance, there have been a few changes. The bike is now powered by a new 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine which outputs 115.5PS and 92.1Nm. Compared to the current Multistrada V2, this is an increase of 2.5PS and a decrease of 3.9Nm. 

The engine has also undergone a few tweaks, such as the addition of a larger flywheel. This will help reduce the bike’s vibrations at the lower revs, making it smoother. The torque curve has also seen some changes. Now the bike offers a more linear acceleration, which will help make it more beginner friendly.

The bike has now been redesigned from the ground up and gets a new chassis. This new chassis has offered a massive weight reduction of 18kg. It also gets 2-step adjustable seat height options: 850mm and 830mm. This will make it more accessible to shorter riders as well.

The new chassis and design also allow for better airflow to the engine and towards the rider’s legs. This will help mitigate the feeling of the engine getting heated up during rides. Overall, the changes made to the Multistrada V2 with the 2025 update are quite good.

They will make a big difference when compared to the currently available Multistrada V2, which is sold in India starting at a price of Rs 16,35,700 (ex-showroom). We expect the 2025 Multistrada V2 to be introduced in India by early to mid-2025 with a similar price.
