Price: The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is available in two variants: Trail which is priced at Rs 2,08,000 and Force which is priced at Rs 2,15,000 (both prices ex-showroom, Chennai).
Design: Royal Enfield Scram 440 is a scrambler and looks quite similar to its predecessor. The lower variant comes with spoke wheels and two colour options: Trail Blue and Trail Green. The higher variant gets alloy wheels and three colour options: Force Blue, Force Grey and Force Teal.
Features: Royal Enfield Scram 440 gets a LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer, and a digital inset to show the odometer, two trip meters, and the fuel level. The instrument cluster is similar to the one found in the Hunter 350. The Royal Enfield Scram 440 gets dual-channel ABS as standard. The Tripper navigation pod is available as an optional accessory.
Engine: The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is powered by a 443cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled engine producing 25.4PS at 6,250rpm and 34Nm at 4,000rpm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Scram 440 has a 41mm right-side-up telescopic fork with 190mm travel and a monoshock with 180mm wheel travel. Braking is handled by a 300mm disc upfront and a 240mm disc at the rear. The Scram 440 has a seat height of 795mm, a ground clearance of 200mm, fuel tank capacity of 15 litres and a kerb weight of 196kg. The bike rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup wrapped around with dual-purpose tyres. The front tyre has a size of 100/90-19 while the rear is a 120/90-17 sized tyre.
