Features: Volvo has equipped its flagship SUV, the 2025 XC90, with a wide range of features, such as a new 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins high fidelity sound system, a fully digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, connected car tech, powered front seats with ventilation, heating, memory, lumbar, and massage functions, an air purifier, wireless charging pad, and matrix LED headlights. The safety kit includes a 360-degree camera, autonomous driving functionality, multiple airbags, a whiplash injury protection system, hill start assist, hill descent control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to name a few.

Engine: Powering the 2025 XC90 facelift could be the same 2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine producing 250 PS and 360 Nm. This comes with the 48V mild hybrid functionality. It is possible that Volvo may offer a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Rivals: The upcoming Volvo 2025 XC90 facelift will continue to take on the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Land Rover Discovery, and Audi Q7.

It gets different powertrain options depending on the market, including two petrol engines with 48V assistance and a plug-in hybrid powertrain with up to 70 km electric-only WLTP range.
