I recently bought the Vespa ZX, drawn in by its retro styling and the promise of a smooth ride through the bustling streets of my city. After a couple of months on my sky blue beauty, I am mostly charmed. The ZX model boasts a 125cc engine that's fairly powerful for city commuting, achieving a top speed of about 90 km/h. It delivers an average mileage of around 45 kmpl which is decent but I had hoped for better fuel efficiency. The aesthetic of the scooter is its main selling point for me, it stands out with its vintage European flair.

The Vespa ZX is a head-turner with its classic Italian design and vibrant color options. It has a 125 cc engine . Riding it feels like a breeze, thanks to its plush seat and smooth suspension. The engine delivers decent performance with enough power for city rides. However, it could use a bit more punch on the highways. Its fuel efficiency is good, making it economical for daily rides. The price is on the higher side, but it's justified considering the brand and features like LED lights and safety features.

Vespa ZX Pros and Cons
ZX Positives Points: Stunning and timeless Vespa styling; Smooth engine with adequate power figures; Comfortable ride quality
ZX Negatives Points: Lack of features like smartphone connectivity; Expensive price tag despite being the most affordable one
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Vespa ZX is a fun and stylish 125cc scooter that comes with the absolutely stylish and timeless Vespa design language. If you’re looking for an authentic, retro scooter, the most affordable choice among Vespa scooters is the Vespa ZX. But the price tag of Rs 1,18,490 (ex-showroom) is steep considering its rivals are available at a much more affordable price with much more features.
