Interior space is commendable comfortably accommodating my family of four but the rear seat could have been more spacious for long drives. The infotainment system is user friendly providing all the necessary connectivity features. However the long wait for the delivery was a disappointment initially. The MG Comet EV marked my entry into the field of electric vehicles and what an introduction it has been This compact EV promised an economical yet stylish way to navigate the urban jungle and it has mostly lived up to that promise. The driving experience is smooth and silent something I have come to enjoy on my daily commutes. However taller passengers have mentioned feeling a bit cramped during rides. The technology and features packed into this small vehicle are impressive though I have encountered relevant glitches with the infotainment system.

After eagerly waiting for the launch, I recently got my hands on the Mahindra XUV400 EV and it has been an exciting few months driving this electric beauty around. The power and acceleration are surprisingly quick for an EV, with the motor producing up to 150PS and enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. The eco friendly aspect, combined with the savings on fuel is a big plus in today's world.The range of approximately 456 km on a single charge as per ARAI is more than adequate for my daily city drives and some weekend getaways without range anxiety.

Entering the electric vehicle space I decided to go for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 attracted by its futuristic design and promising specifications. The interior is a minimalist’s dream with a clean and high tech feel complemented by an impressive range of approximately 481 km on a full charge which is perfect for my daily needs and occasional long drives. Each of these vehicles has brought a unique flavor to my driving experiences showing that while no car is perfect there’s abundance out there for every type of driver and need.
