Have you booked the new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift? Then we have good news for you, as deliveries have commenced across the country. This is the fourth generation of the popular name plate and updates are more than skin deep as it’s the first Maruti car to pack in the carmaker’s new three-cylinder petrol engine. 

Maruti Suzuki offers the 2024 Swift in five broad trims: Lxi, Vxi, Vxi (O), Zxi and Zxi+. As for colour options, you can pick it up in six hues: Sizzling Red, Magma Grey, Pearl Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Novel Orange, and Luster Blue (last two are new). Dual-tone options, offered only in the top-spec Zxi+ variant, are limited to the blue, white and red colours.

In terms of features, the new-gen Swift 2024 comes packing a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start and analogue dials with a coloured multi-info display.

Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and rear parking camera with sensors. 

Powering the new-gen 2024 Swift is a brand new 82PS 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It can be teamed with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. The one with the stick shifter delivers a claimed mileage of 24.8kmpl, while the AMT returns 25.75kmpl.
