Toyota Fortuner Latest Updates
Toyota has introduced the Fortuner Leader Edition with upgraded styling over the standard variants. It features front and rear bumper lip spoilers and blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels. It is available only in 3 dual-tone paint schemes. The only added convenience features in the Leader Edition is a tyre pressure monitoring system.
It is powered by the 204 PS 2.8 litre diesel engine from the standard Fortuner, mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, but only with rear-wheel-drive.
Features of Toyota Fortuner : The Toyota Fortuner comes equipped with features such as a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 11-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and hands-free tailgate opening. Other features include cruise control, automatic climate control, powered-driver seats, multi-info display, and keyless entry with push button start. Safety is taken care of by seven airbags, ABS with EBD, front parking sensors, rear camera with parking sensors, and electronic stability control.
Toyota Fortuner Engine : The Toyota Fortuner gets two engine options: a new 204PS/500Nm 2.8-litre diesel and a 166PS/245Nm 2.7-litre petrol unit. Transmission options include 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic for diesel engine, and 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox for petrol engine. The diesel variants get an option for rear and all-wheel drive, whereas the petrol variants are only offered with a rear-wheel drivetrain.
