The unicorn 160 offers a smooth and comfortable riding experience. It's upright seating and padded seats make rides enjoyable and it has very responsive handling. Thus the riding is pretty enjoyable in city and highways.Mileage of unicorn 160 is quite impressive, Ranging from 55-65 kmpl under mixed driving conditions. At this budget it's a fuel efficient option for daily use.The bike is packed with a very good initial pickup, Which is very good to survive in city traffic and it perform well in stop and go situations by providing a smooth ride even at lower speed. The servicing and maintenance costs for honda are relatively affordable compared to other bikes at this 1-1.3l price segment.I would recommend you to go with authorised service centres to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This bike is powered by a single cylinder 162 cc engine is delivers a adequate power for both city commutes and occassional highway rides.Engine is pretty much refined and offers a linear power delivery, Contributing a pleasant riding experience.Honda is known for it's excellent build quality, And the unicorn 160 is no exception. The bike feels sturdy and well-built in hand capable of handling rough road conditions with ease. The fit and finish is commendable and yeah, It's good !overall the honda unicorn 160 is a pretty reliable and practical choice in this 1.2-1.5l price range and you could definitely go for it for good mileage and decent performance and low maintenance cost.

Amazing Bike With Good Mileage

I own a Honda Unicorn bike since 2010 and I still use it. It provides me with great value for its cost. The build quality is amazing with steady handling and produces little vibration under 80 km of speed. The mileage is around 50 but it can be improved. The service center helped me and now I am getting good mileage as well as the service cost is not so high. The bike is somewhat rust-free even when it is not maintained or washed for long. I always felt it was an amazing machine.

Honda Unicorn Pros and Cons

Unicorn Positives Points: Fairly light for an old-school 150cc motorcycle, Gets lots of ground clearance, Features a longer seat for improved comfort

Unicorn Negatives Points: Dated looks,Honda hasn’t provided the start-stop function or a silent starter,Commands a considerable premium over the BS4-compliant version

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Honda Unicorn has always been the go-to bike if you were planning to buy a 150cc commuter. The BS6 update has given the bike a larger motor, while retaining the dynamics of the older bike. It still remains a well-rounded motorcycle, but the BS6 update has come with a hefty price hike.
