Rugged but Rough Around the Edges

The Mahindra Scorpio has been part of my garage for over two years now. Known for its tough exterior and robust build it truly is a workhorse. The power from the 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine is ample for off road and city driving, and it sits high giving a commanding view of the road ahead. The ride quality is on the rougher side which you start to notice especially on longer drives. Interiors though improved still lag behind other SUVs in this price range in terms of sophistication and modernity.

Mahindra scorpio

The mahindra scorpio is a rugged and reliable suv known for its bold design and strong performance.Powered by a 2.2-liter mhawk diesel engine, It handles both urban and off-road conditions well. The spacious interior offers comfort, Though it lacks some modern premium touches.Safety features include dual airbags, Abs with ebd, And rear parking sensors on higher trims. Its value for money is a standout, Making it a great choice for those needing a versatile and durable vehicle. While not the most refined, The scorpio excels in durability, Capability, And affordability.

Rugged Charm Meets Modern Needs

The Mahindra Scorpio has been with me for a year now and it has been an adventure from the get go. It has the rugged looks and commanding road presence that won me over initially. Powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine that churns out 140 horsepower, it got enough power for both city driving and off road escapades. The ride can get bouncy, especially on poor roads and handling is not its strongest suit reflecting its age old design philosophy. Mahindra has made efforts to modernize the Scorpio with a touchscreen infotainment system and reverse parking camera.

A Rugged Buddy with a Rough Edge

The Mahindra Scorpio has been a constant companion on many adventures. Its powerful 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine producing 140hp can tackle the roughest terrains without breaking a sweat. And with an average mileage of around 15 km/l, it has proven to be an efficient beast. But The ride can be bumpy, feeling every pothole on our often unpredictable Indian roads. Inside, the cabin noise could use some work, making long drives slightly less pleasant than desired. Over this looks like you are controlling a monster with your hands , it feels awesome.

Aside from aesthetic upgrades, The scorpio has considerably improved in terms of performance and cabin refinement, Owing to a new second generation 2.2-litre mhawk diesel engine. The all-aluminum 130hp motor is 55kg lighter and more efficient than the previous engine. However, The first thing you notice is how quiet and devoid of energy it is.
