Good machjione

I think that yamaha has built a really good machine that is packed with performance and power. The best thing that i like about the bike is the handling. It's very easy to maneuver in delhi traffic. It has matched every expectation of mine and is one of the best-looking bikes available on the market. My 1st free service costed to me about rs.850, Japanese are known for their build quality and this bike has never disappointed me.The bluetooth connectivity is a great feature and the usd forks were needed at this price point. What i really didn't like was that it doesn't have dual channel abs common yamaha!! and please improve the cushioning on the seat.Long rides are painful.Just if you are comparing it with ktm for power, You will be disappointed for sure. But if you are looking for a perfect match of performance and fuel efficiency you are at the right place. No bike in the category gives 45kmpl with 18.4 ps power, It's more than 3 months since i have had this bike now. It's a perfect combo!!!.

Torque figures

3.8

The yamaha mt-15 is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-valve producing 18.4ps at 10, 000rpm and 14.1nm at 7500rpm.While the engine displacement is the same as the older bike, Power and torque figures are down by 0.1ps and 0.2nm.We think yamaha has detuned the engine to improve fuel economy.Engine outputs compared to the bs4 version are lower -- 0.7ps and 0.6nm to be precise. It uses the same deltabox frame, Braking hardware and rear monoshock unit. However, The rear swingarm used on the mt-15 is now a cast aluminium unit and it sports a usd fork as seen on the r15 v4.One big miss on the 2022 mt-15 is the lack of dual-channel abs.

Yamaha MT 15 V2 Pros and Cons

MT 15 V2 Positives Points: Engine is well refined, Very agile and nimble, Design is very eye catching

MT 15 V2 Negatives Points: Lacks bottom end grunt, Suspension is too stiff, Pillion seat is nonexistent

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The MT 15 has seen some improvements over the years like the addition of inverted forks, and dual channel ABS. But the lack of riding comfort and features makes the bike a very pricey proposition when compared to its rivals.
