Price: The Ather 450 Apex is available in India at a price tag of Rs 1,94,998 (ex-showroom Bengaluru), as this time Ather hasn’t applied for FAME 2 subsidy. It comes in a single variant.

Design: The 450 Apex gets similar bodywork as the 450X but a lot has changed. The 450 Apex comes with transparent body panels and features a special ‘Indium Blue’ paint job. The overall design looks sharp and has the same dimensions as the 450X.

Features: The Ather 450 Apex gets an all-LED lighting setup. It features a 7-inch touchscreen TFT instrument cluster with integrated Google Maps navigation suite. It also gets a new Warp+ Immersive UI. The e-scooter gets a 22-litre underseat storage.

Motor: The Ather 450 Apex features a PMS (Permanent Magnet Synchronous) motor that produces a peak output of 7kW and 26Nm, compared to the 6.4kW power of the 450X. The e-scooter has five riding modes including a Warp+ mode. It goes 0-40kmph in 2.9 seconds which is 0.5 seconds quicker than the 450X. The e-scooter has a claimed top speed of 100kmph (10kmph faster than the 450X). Powered by a 3.7kWh battery pack the 450 Apex takes 5 hours and 45 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 percent from a home charger. The e-scooter provides a Tru range of 110km in Smart Eco mode and has a 75km range in Warp+ mode.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Ather 450 Apex has a strong aluminium frame. It gets a telescopic fork and a rear monoshock. The e-scooter is equipped with a 200mm front disc and a 190mm rear disc, with CBS (Combined Braking System) and regenerative braking. The scooter gets a 170mm ground clearance and has a comfortable seat height of 780mm. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with 90-section front and 100-section rear tubeless tyres.
