1. Shah Rukh Khan
It is safe to add Shahrukh Khan and Hyundai in the list of longstanding celebrity-brand associations. Hyundai had roped in Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador nearly two decades ago and their association still continues. SRK’s association with Hyundai first began with the Santro, the carmaker’s first car in the Indian market. Last year, SRK featured in yet another TVC of the Hyundai Xcent, which pitched the theme of extra space, style and comfort.
2. Akshay Kumar
Another popular star, Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador for the Honda range of motorcycles in India. Akshay is known for his stunts in the industry and the Honda commercial released in 2014 depicted no less of a dare devilry feat. The TVC depicted sky-divers forming wing-shaped logo of the Honda in the sky with the jingle ‘Dekho Dekhe Yeh Zamana’ running as the background score. In yet another TVC, released a few months ago Akshay introduced the Dream range of Honda Motorcycles through this advertisement.
3. Ranveer Singh
Maruti was struggling to make its presence felt in the bigger car segment and Ciaz was touted to be a game changer for the country’s largest carmaker in this segment. Maruti roped in Ranveer Singh to promote its new Ciaz, and the first commercial of the same was shot in Madhavpur in Gujarat which depicted the theme that even VVIPS’ ‘make way for the Ciaz’.
4. Deepika Padukone

This svelte actress endorses the Yamha Ray. Deepika was seen riding the Yamaha Ray through a town in the TVC which was released in the year 2012. Yamaha, through this campaign urged the young Indian girls to explore the world with the new ‘Ray’ as its companion.
5. Alia Bhatt
Hero MotoCorp brought in Alia Bhatt aboard to endorse the Hero Pleasure last year. The storyline depicted Alia Bhatt going around the town riding her Hero Pleasure with a tagline at the end stating ‘Why should boys have all the fun’.
6. John Abraham
Yamaha has an impressive portfolio of bikes in india and its brand ambassador is none other than John Abraham. We all know about John's obssession for bikes and this association definitely comes as no surprise. The suave actor had endorsed the Yamaha FZ back in 2010 and was seen riding it stylishly on the road.
7. Ranbir Kapoor
In July this year Renault roped in Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor to promote its cars in India. The company officially stated that the Rockstar of Indian cinema - Ranbir Kapoor is now its brand ambassador. The carmaker had further stated that its association with the star will leverage the versatility and legacy of the brand. The Renault India TV Commercial starring Ranbir was released last month with its music composed by the legend AR Rahman.
Ranbir's association with Hero Maestro dates back to October 2013. The advertisement featured Ranbir picking up his visibly unhappy girlfriend and setting off on his Maestro while answering all her questions on their relationship's future in a playful manner while referring to the Maestro.
8. Sachin Tendulkar
Known as the ‘Undisputed God of the Cricket World’, Sachin Tendulkar needs no further introduction. From a six-year-old to a sixty-year-old, almost every Indian adores this legend. The Indian cricket icon who played 664 international cricket matches in his glorious career of 24 years is the brand ambassador for the BMW.
