It’s that time of the year again when you will waste no opportunity to smear your near and dear ones in a rainbow of colours. And to help you get into the spirit of all things Holi, we make a list of the flashiest cars that have hit the Indian streets
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza – Fiery Yellow
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been the talk of the town, and the buzz around it has swollen even further after it was rolled out earlier this month. Introduced in a range of striking hues with dual colour schemes, the compact SUV also lives up to its date of launch around the Holi season; especially with the Fiery Yellow.
Hyundai – Passion Red
If you love spend your weekends modifying your car, you would have heard about this particular colour in the mechanic quarters. Available on almost all Hyundai cars, including the Creta, the Passion Red is supposed to be the brightest shade of red in the automotive world!
Mahindra Xylo – Green
The big utilitarian Xylo couldn’t fare as well as some of the other big cars from Mahindra. And we give due credit to the Indian manufacturer for giving the car cavernous space on the inside but what was it thinking when it chose to paint the car like a parrot? Green may be the new black, but not in this case for sure.

Datsun Go – Sky
The hatchback can’t be called a real hit in the markets. That said, the car has drawn plenty of attention for its quirky colours; something that we had pointed out at the time of its launch too. The shade of blue that the Japanese manufacturer choses to call Sky stands out among the lot. Love it or hate it; but you simply can’t ignore it.
Maruti Suzuki Zen Estillo – Metallic Pink
Even before Maruti Suzuki got all jazzy while colouring the Vitara Brezza, it had already experimented with the Zen Estillo some years back. And this led to a bizarre pink that would give a tough fight to the one in Nicky Minaj’s lipstick collection. We don’t know whether it was intended or not, but this makes the car resistant to the gulaal stains on Holi too. Beat that!
Mercedes-AMG G63 ‘Crazy Colour’ Edition
With the colour game going strong around various automotive quarters over the years, even luxury carmakers could not hold back. As a result, the German manufacturer also rolled out a SUV in dual tone, prominently in a taxi-coloured yellow. In case you were wondering where you saw a massive cab, it might well have been the ‘Crazy Colour’ edition of the G63. Other colours in this range also include a bright neon green.
Lamborghini – customised colour choices
In a conversation about expensive cars and colours, it would be absolute blasphemy to ignore the Italian manufacturer. Just to give you an idea of things, the Huracan comes in more than a dozen customisable colour choices. Have a look at some of them and enjoy a safe and happy Holi, from all of us here at ZigWheels!
