We all know that Captain Cool Dhoni is an avid auto enthusiast. The Chennai Super Kings skipper’s passion for biking is a no hidden secret. As far as his collection of bikes goes, he owns a bunch of exclusive bikes such as the Confederate Hellcat X132, Ducati 1098, Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R, Harley Davidson Fatboy, and Yamaha YZF600 Thundercat among others. He recently acquired a Kawasaki Ninja H2, which, currently, is India's fastest bike. During a hard-earned break in April 2015, after a long and grueling tour to Australia which included the unsuccessful World Cup campaign, Dhoni was seen riding the light green Bullet on the streets of Ranchi. The cricketing icon was, however, fined Rs 450 for violating traffic rules. His crime: he had affixed the front registration plates on the mudguard of one of his bike, which was described by authorities as a ‘technical violation’ of traffic rules. Reports suggest, Dhoni’s brother-in-law Gautam Gupta deposited the amount to police on behalf of the celebrity cricketer.
2. Harbhajan Singh
Driving his dream Hummer H2 landed the Mumbai Indians player Harbhajan Singh in trouble in September 2009. Bhajji was fined by Chandigarh traffic police for using the vehicle without a valid number plate. As per the Motor Vehicles Act, no vehicle can be brought on the road without a registration number. The off-spinner had imported the sporty SUV from England which cost him a whopping Rs 70 lakh then, according to reports.
3. Andrew Flintoff
England cricket legend and 2009 IPL Season player, Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff, was caught by the authorities speeding at 80mph, breaking the 70mph speed-limit in Linstock, Cumbria last year. This wasn’t the first time the 37-year-old cricketer was caught. Reports suggest, Flintoff was caught speeding on August 12, 2011, June ,7 2012 and June 9, 2014 as well. The millionaire sporting icon already had nine points on his license when he was caught. He could have been hit with an automatic driving ban, but was spared by magistrates after he argued such a measure would affect his charity work and the privacy of his three children. The former England captain was instead given three points on his license by court officials and allowed to carry on driving after he paid the fine of Rs 33,184.
4. Wasim Akram

Former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram was fined for violating traffic rules in Lahore. Reports suggest Akram was challaned for speeding near the Punjab University campus in Pakistan. Wasim was allegedly stopped by the traffic warden who told him he was speeding at 78kmph while the speed-limit in the area was 60kmph. The former Test captain of Pakistan handed over Rs 500 fine without any arguments.
5. Umar Akmal
Pakistan's middle-order batsman Umar Akmal was arrested back in February last year for violating traffic rules and was levied with charges such as interfering with government work and scuffling with a traffic official. Reports suggest, 24-year-old Akmal did not stop at a traffic signal in the commercial Firdous market area in Lahore, and later brawled with a traffic warden.
