The BMW CE 04 has been launched at Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it only Rs 1.05 lakh cheaper than the Ducati Monster SP. The electric scooter gets futuristic styling with edgy design lines. It comes equipped with a 8.9kWh capacity battery and gets a claimed range of 130km. The motor’s capacity is 15kW with a peak power output of 31kW and a top speed of 120km. Charging the battery from 0-100% takes 4 hours and 20 minutes with the standard charger and 1 hour and 40 minutes with the optional quick charger. It has a suspension setup of a telescopic fork and a monoshock while the braking setup consists of dual 265mm front disc brakes and a single 265mm rear disc brake.

In terms of features, it gets a 10.25-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, USB-C charging port, all-LED lighting and three ride modes: Eco, Rain and Road along with a reverse mode. It has dual-channel ABS as standard and lean-sensitive ABS available as optional. Other riding aids include traction control and Automatic Stability Control as standard and Dynamic Traction Control is available as an accessory. Some of the other accessories available for the scooter include heated grips, anti-theft alarm system, a centre stand and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
