The new 2019 BMW 3 Series brings more space and comfort and unlike the outgoing model all this doesn't detract from it's performance. This time around there will be just two engine options, a 2.0-litre petrol in the 330i that makes 258PS and 400Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel 320d that makes the same 190PS and 400Nm as before. Both models send power just to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. At the time of the launch BMW haven't brought either the 320d or the 340i MSport that feature the xDrive 4-wheel drive system. The new G20 model is longer wider and features a longer wheel base while also being 55kgs lighter than before. It features all LED headlights and tail lamps, active kidney front grill, twin exhaust pipes and subtle features like puddle lights. The interiors are a step up both in terms of tech as well as rear seat comfort but strangely for a car in this price range it's missing features like adaptive cruise, 360 degree parking camera and passive keyless entry. Ride and handling is on the stiffer side and will please the enthusiast while 0-100 time of 5.8 seconds (claimed for the 330i) is enough for some serious thrills when roads open up. The 3 Series rivals Audi's A4 and the Mercedes Benz C-Class and prices range from X.xx to x.xx.

Images of the facelifted BMW 3 Series have been leaked for the first time in China. It reveals a revised front end with a new bumper, redesigned LED headlamps with arrow-shaped LED DRLs, a wider air dam, and plenty of black accents.
BMW could debut the facelifted BMW 3 Series around 2022. In India, we expect it to command a premium over the current model priced from Rs 43.60 lakh to Rs 62.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4.
