Odisha-based EeVe has launched its flagship scooter, the Soul, in India at Rs 1.39,900 (ex-showroom). Check out our story for full details.

The EeVe Soul is the company’s flagship scooter. It bears a striking design language with an angry fascia and a dual tone livery.

Features on the scooter comprise phone connectivity for anti-theft lock alerts and geo fencing, as well as GPS navigation. Other features include a USB port, keyless start and a reverse mode. However, the Soul gets an LCD instrument cluster rather than a TFT unit we’re used to seeing in this segment.

The scooter is powered by a 1.2kW Bosch motor coupled to two batteries stored under the seat. The batteries are removable and swappable but this comes at a compromise - boot space.

EeVe claims the scooter can reach 60kmph and return a range of 120km in a single charge. Not class-leading by any means, but not bad either.

In the market, the EeVe Soul rivals the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube Electric, Bounce E1, and the Ather 450X.
