It's only a day's trip, about 15 hours of driving time with breaks. It would cost about Rs. 10,000 to move your car with a good mover & packer company (like Writer Corporation or Agarwal Packers). For less than that you could enjoy a nice road trip on the same route. We recently drove that highway and it is simply brilliant. Mumbai - Pune - Satara - Kholapur - Hubli - Chitradurga - Bangalore (with bypasses for all these cities).
