Royal Enfield 750cc Motorcycle Spied in India: A Teambhpian has spotted Royal Enfield's much-awaited flagship in India. This is the first time the bike is spied in India. Here's the image: Going by the image, I think this was taken in Chennai. The new bike now gets twin megaphone-style exhausts and the chain is on the left side, unlike most REs where the chain is on the right. The gas reservoir is now at the top as opposed to the bottom mounted one in the Continental GT. The tires seem to be the same width as found in the Continental GT. The brake levers also seem to be more upright, which will be really uncomfortable to operate. Perhaps it's the rider's preference? That said, this is just a test bike, so expect the final product to come with many changes to optimise rideability. Source: TeamBHP

This engine looks massive. The reason for the rattling and high levels of vibration may be due to the manual welding and assembling the vehicle amidst high market demand. Putting this engine to play on a cruiser type vehicle as the likes of Avengers, it will be a very good tourer/cruiser vehicle. Many people who find Harleys and other foreign brands costly, will find this product as a value proposition and a very good alternative.

Roshun exactly what I thought too. The Continental GT and the Classic are right on top of the Royal Enfield product portfolio, hence they should be the ones getting it. The Continental GT with this twin-cylinder will finally be able to compete with the Triumph Bonneville Street Twin. It is high time Royal Enfield take Triumph Motorcycles seriously in our country especially considering the rate at which their latest products are making it to their Indian showrooms and the status the Bonneville enjoys with Indian customers. Looks like we've got something exciting to look forward to. My guess is that this engine will debut within the next two years.
