The humid climate in India ensures you sweat and the art leather or leather set covers doubles the perspirationdue to heat transfer from leather to your body through sin. So I like to enjoy the boon of fabric seats.

The S-Cross comes with fabric seats only on the lower variants which is only available with the 1.3 DDiS engine - Sigma, Delta and Zeta. The top-end Alpha variants come with leather upholstery. The fabric seats are of pretty good quality and you won't need seat covers. In fact, in our country where it is hot and humid for most of the year, I prefer fabric seats than leather ones as they absorb sweat more easily and don't get too hot while parked in the sun. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the seats, Nexa offers some good leather seat covers as well. If you are going for the Alpha variant, the leather seats in them are quite good. We had an S-Cross media car in the top-spec DDiS 320 Alpha variant and took to the hills for a travelogue earlier this year. From that experience, what I can say is that the front seats are really good although they are a tad stiff. If offers plenty of support and won't make you exhausted on long drives. The rear bench is wide and spacious. However, it could have done with some lumbar support for the back. Overall, there isn't much to worry about the fabric or leather seats that Maruti Suzuki provides with the S-Cross.
