Bird electric with technical expertise provided by Haima have just revealed their new electric hatchback at Auto Expo 2020. In terms of range it will be capable of covering 200km on a single charge from it’s 20.46kWh battery pack. It’s electric motor produces 95Nm and can propel the EV to a top speed of 120kmph. Power consumption ratings stand at Rs 60 per 100km. When launched it will take on the Mahindra eKUV100 and the Maruti Suzuki XL5 Electric when they are launched.
The materials and plastics feel quite upmarket for the segment the car is going to fall in. In terms of features we don’t have the exact specifications but there is a full colour digital dash for the driver and a large touch screen infotainment system. Other visible features include climate control, usb charge socket for the rear seats and drive select buttons for the drive, neutral and reverse functions.
