If you own a G310 R/GS and find the next upgrade within the BMW family a bit too far-fetched, it’s time to rejoice. BMW has launched its heavily revamped middleweight range, the result of which is the F900 R and F900 XR, in India. The F900 R is a naked roadster, powered by a 105PS, 895cc parallel-twin in an urban-friendly package that weighs 211kg. The F900 XR gets the exact same engine but gets a touring-friendly fairing and weighs 219 kg.
The F900 XR, modelled after the intimidating S1000 XR, is also available in a Pro variant which offers a third (Dynamic) riding mode in addition to the standard Road and Rain modes.
