Here, we take a quick look at the two flavours of the Moto Morini Seiemezzo that Moto Vault will be offering in India - the Scrambler and the Retro. Both bikes bring a whole lot of Italian flair in terms of design and look like proper old-school offerings in modern avatars. As the name Seiemmezzo (‘six and a half’ in Italian) suggests, these bikes are powered by a 650cc parallel twin engine that also does duty in the Moto Morini X-scape twins. But in the case of the Seiemezzos, it has been tuned to deliver 55 PS and 54Nm.
Both these variants of the Seiemezzo come with some top notch components such as an adjustable 43mm upside down fork, dual front brake rotors and a fairly hefty 15.5-litre fuel tank. While the retro gets 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with road-biased rubber, the Scrambler gets the same sizes in wirespoke wheels which run tubeless off-road Pirelli Scorpion rubber. Apart from all his hardware, these bikes als get a 5-inch colour TFT screen and premium switch gear to control all the bikes’ settings. Even though prices haven’t been announced yet, these bikes will not have any direct competitors in the Indian market. The Retro variant though might go up against the likes of the Kawasaki Z650.
