- Skoda Kushaq is underpinned by the MQB-A0-IN platform, VW Group’s localised version of the smallest global modular platform, the MQB-A0.
- It will be offered with 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines; no diesel on offer.
- A 6-speed MT is standard, 1.0 TSI to come with 6-speed torque converter, and 1.5 TSI to come with 7-speed DCT.
- It’s likely to be priced between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
- The Kushaq will be offered in three variants: Active, Ambition, and Style.
- Skoda Kushaq will rival Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
