TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 has been launched on 30 January, 2020. The new Apache RR 310 BS6 is now priced at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom India), which is Rs 12,000 more than the BS4 model. With the update, the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 gets ride-by-wire and four riding modes: Rain, Urban, Sport and Track. The top speed of the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 remains the same at 160kmph. Deliveries of the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 will begin from 5 February, 2020.
The BMW-developed 312.2cc single-cylinder engine continues to pump out 34PS and 27.3Nm. While the output remains the same in Sport and Track modes, the engine is restricted to 25.8PS and 25Nm in Rain and Urban riding modes. ABS intervention has also been calibrated according to the riding modes. You get maximum intervention in Rain mode while Track mode has minimum intervention. Both Urban and Sport mode get the same ABS tune. ABS cannot be switched off though.
There is a new 5-inch colour TFT screen that replaces the old digital LCD screen. You can connect your smartphone via a dedicated SmartXonnect app, which is available for both Android and iOS. The console is controlled via switches on the right hand side, as TVS has also given a hazard toggle switch on this bike.
Underpinnings remain the same but tyres have now been changed to Michelin Road 5 which offer more grip than before.
