Yamaha India surprised us by launching the new Aerox 155. The Aerox 155 is the fastest, quickest and among the most expensive scooters on sale in India. It is powered by the same engine as seen on the Yamaha R15 which makes it among the sportiest scooters on sale. The Aerox has a sharp and aggressive styling which is unlike any other scooter available currently.
The scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and also boasts the widest tyre for any mainstream scooter. It’s also the only made in India scooter to feature VVA and liquid-cooling. Talking about features the Aerox 155 gets a LCD instrument console while a cubby hole and a USB charger is an optional extra. The Yamaha Aerox 155 doesn’t have any direct rivals and its closest competitor is the Aprilia SXR160. The Yamaha Aerox 155 is priced at Rs 1.29 lakh.
