ISUZU MU-X 2017-2020
Isuzu MU-X 2017-2020 Overview
Isuzu has launched an updated version of its flagship SUV, the mu-X, in India. The SUV is available in two variants - 4x2 AT and 4x4 AT - which are priced at Rs 26.34 lakh and Rs 28.31 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The mu-X facelift comes with redesigned headlamps that now feature Bi-LED self levelling projector lamps. The front bumper has been redesigned as well along with a new chrome grille. It also gets new 18-inch alloys and reworked tail lamps at the rear. The cabin remains almost identical, the major change being the omission of the 10-inch roof mounted screen which was offered on the old car. The infotainment system too is the same 7.0-inch touchscreen unit and still doesn’t support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It does, however, come with six airbags, ABS, hill descent control, hill start assist and ESP and traction control.
The engine, too, is the same 3.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel unit that churns out 177PS of max power and 380 Nm of torque. This engine cannot be tuned to be BSVI compliant, so expect the manufacturer to update its engine lineup by late 2019.
