The Versys X 300 is Kawasaki's entry-level ADV (along with the Versys-X 250, which is sold in select markets) and shares its 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with the Ninja 300 which makes 39PS and 26.1Nm. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork along with a monoshock. For braking, there is a 290mm disc at the front and a 220mm one at the rear with dual channel ABS as standard. The Versys gets a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels combination shod with tube tyres.
Kawasaki will reportedly localise the Versys X 300 so we expect it to be priced around the Rs 4 lakh mark (ex-showroom). Once here, it will rival bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure (Rs 3,38,746).
