Features: The Kia Syros is equipped with features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and AppleCarplay, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 5-inch touchscreen for climate control, a four-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and 64-color ambient lighting. Additional amenities include ventilated front and rear seats, an 8 speaker Harman/Kardon sound system, a wireless phone charger, and auto up/down for all windows. Safety is ensured by 6 standard airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera, a dual dashcam setup, an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold and level-2 ADAS features.

Engine: The Kia Syros offers two engine options: a 1-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine delivering 120 PS and 172 Nm, paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The second is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 116 PS and 250 Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. It measures 3995 mm in length, 1805 mm in width and 1680 mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2550 mm.

Rivals: It does not have any direct rivals but as for its pricing, it becomes an alternative to a range of sub-4 metre and compact SUVs, including the Tata Nexon and Curvv, Hyundai Venue and Creta, Maruti Brezza and Grand Vitara, as well as the Mahindra XUV 3XO.

Variants: It is available in six different variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O). Colour options include 8 monotone shades: Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, Glacier White, Aurora Black and Frost Blue.

The Kia Syros has made its global debut, positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia's SUV lineup. As a premium sub-4m SUV, it is offered in six variants, offering both petrol and diesel engine options shared with the Sonet. It sports Kia's new design language, with a fresh rugged look complemented by a host of modern features. While it doesn't face direct competition, it sits as an alternative among a mix of sub-4 metre and compact SUVs in the Indian market.
