- It would be unfair to give a verdict here as the issues may arise in any vehicle. Mostly, it depends on the storage care and maintenance of the vehicle. If you timely service your car, store it properly and take precautions then you would not face any such issues.
- Use 5th gear for speed upto 110 and be modest on accelerator and pick gradual speed. Using this theory I have achieved an average of 15 and top mileage of 18.
- In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you ride slower. Riding fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully. To get the most out of every litre of fuel accelerate gently, get to the highest gear as quickly as possible and then maintain a steady speed. Avoid jackrabbit or rapid starts while waiting at a red light and, of course, turn off the ignition if you’re stopping for over 20 seconds.
- For this, we would suggest you get in touch with the nearest authorized service center of Mahindra in your city as they may assist you better in this.

Change brake
Extremely high maintenance car.I had to change brakes twice because the brakes were making screeching noise. The cost of that was 40k rupees. All this in just 3 years.Suspensions almost failed (as the car wobbles left and right) and this failure occurred immediately after 40k km.The cost of that is 1 lakh rupees.Car seat at the middle won’t bend. They say they have to replace the entire seat. The cost of that is 40k rupees.Again this problem happened after 3.5 years of ownership.Apart from that lot of all issues.Sun visor broke, Radio doesn’t work.Clutch is too tight.Cost again for that is 40k rupees. All in all very expensive maintenance.Better to opt for german cars.Even thought german cars are high on maintenance they provide a class different from the rest.

2.0I thought it was an old car.
I have purchased a old car from mahindra first choice showroom and i thought it was an old car so 1st service should be done at the mahindra service station. But there is loot in the name of service. My car had such a huge default, They didn't see it.Due to which my car broke down due to broken axle and was parked on the road and i and my family were in a lot of trouble.I want to say this to the service station people that they do not see anything without telling what is the fault in the vehicle? it is a blessing to god that nothing happened with me and my family. My very bad experience with mahindra, Neither will i ever buy a mahindra car, Nor will i go to a mahindra service station, Nor will i tell anyone to buy a mahindra car.🙏🙏.

4.3Hill sections
I call the car Miss Swift, she is really quick at accelerating, and great to climb up hill sections, 'Ghats' as we call them in Maharashtra. Leaves all types of cars including imported ones behind when climbing up slopes. But on our highways its best not to drive at more than 120 kmph, because of sudden appearance of hazards like cattle, jaywalkers e.t.c. Although I have driven her at 150kmph, it does feel unsafe. Braking action is good up to 100kmph. She is a driver's car, would hate to sit behind and let someone else drive her. The family loves the spacious interiors and the ride comfort.

4.3Roading capability
PROs: Reliable Engine, Good build, Style, Good Driveline (gearbox etc), Mechanical Ruggedness, Many Features* for the price, Off-roading capability (means you don’t need to bother pot-holes on roads and can take it right inside the farms), Good image of the brand & vehicle on road.CONs:Electricals & Electronics,Lesser reliable Electricals & Electronics dependent features- like Security licking system, power windows, battery operation & life, Rigid or less-flexible seating (for the price range), Paints go dull soon (my expereince with black).

Decent Car
It's a decent vehicle, although it can be a bit cumbersome for city driving on occasion. It provides a fuel economy of approximately 13-14 kilometers per liter in the city and 17 kilometers per liter on the highway. The only significant issue I've encountered is a power loss caused by modulator failure, which incurred a cost of around 3k, including labor. The vehicle has comfortable seats and ample space, although the last row is quite cramped. If you use the last row, there won't be any room left for luggage. The suspension is notably subpar. The infotainment system encountered early failures, and the repair or replacement costs are substantial. Additionally, there were some metal fatigue noises experienced on hilly roads. Overall, it's a decent vehicle if you take good care of it.
