The affordable luxury comes in the form of Mercedes B class which retails in India in the price range of Rs 31.99 - 33.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The B-class has a cab-forward stance which helps it in liberating more cabin space for the occupants. On the outside, B- class comes equipped with chrome slatted grille, sculpted front and rear bumper, alloy wheels, animated profile, and sensibly designed rear section. Inside the cabin, the functions get priority over the form and although the equipment level here is not something to go gaga about, overall B-class offers a decent combination of features and space. Under the hood, the engine options come in the form of a 1.6-liter petrol motor (121bhp/200Nm) and a 2.2-liter diesel engine (134bhp/300Nm), both mated to an automatic transmission. In the Indian market, Mercedes Benz B class is competing against the likes of BMW X1, Audi A3, and Volvo V40 among others.
