Mercedes Benz GLC is a premium SUV retailing in the price band of Rs 48.12-77.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The exteriors of the SUV is characterized by the strong muscular bonnet, sharp profile ridges, large alloy wheels, raked windshields, and dual chrome exhausts. The Interiors of GLC is ultra-premium and Mercedes has devoted special attention to the details for providing unmatched experience to the owners. Features like circular air vents, a large TFT multifunctional display, leather upholstery, and wooden embellishment add to the plush nature of the cabin. Under the Hood, GLC comes powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine and a 2.0-liter petrol engine capable of putting out 170 BHP / 400 nm and 245 BHP / 370 Nm respectively; both mated to 9-speed automatic transmission. In the Indian market, Mercedes GLC is up against the likes of BMW X3, Volvo XC90, Audi Q3, and Range Rover Evoque among others.
Mercedes-Benz GLC 2016-2019 Overview
Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps of the GLC 43 AMG facelift. Apart from updated exterior, the model gets updates to the engine and feature list as well. The 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo unit now makes 390 PS, 23 PS more than before. Torque figures remain the same at 520Nm. Inside, the model gets a new digital instrument display and touchscreen infotainment system that comes with MBUX.
The Mercedes GLC AMG 43 facelift is expected to be available here in India in 2020. Considering the raft of updates, expect it to cost more than the current model, which is priced at Rs 78.04 lakh (ex-showroom pan India)
