Solely focusing on 2-wheelers, EICMA every year allows manufacturers to showcase latest innovations and unveil new vehicles. Being held from 6th to 11th Nov in Milan this year, the motor show can be expected to bring in exciting news for motorcycle enthusiasts.

2019 Honda CB 650R and CBR 650R : Swanky new avatar for the middleweights

Honda CB 650R and CBR 650R share underpinnings and yet are very different. While former is a naked motorcycle, the latter is a fully faired sports tourer. Powered by a 650cc engine, they both have enough juice for an exciting ride. Honda extended its neo-retro styling theme to the CB 650R and we have no complaints with that. CBR 650R, which is essentially replacing CBR 650F, gets an aggressive design which is well complemented by LED headlamps.

2019 Kawasaki H2 SX SE+ : Taking hyper-touring to the next level

This is where Kawasaki decided to make things really interesting. As if their H2 wasn't enough for adrenaline junkies, they now have a touring motorcycle based on H2. Kawasaki H2 SX SE+ gets the same engine as H2, which means a torque of 137NM and power output of 200PS. It also gets a gamut of electornic aids for the rider, including traction control, cornering lamps, launch control and bi-directional quickshifters.

2019 BMW R1250R & R1250RS : Boxer Twinning

This EICMA was a show of twins, with many manufacturers releasing two different motorcyles based on same platform but catering to different genres. BMW too joined this league by unveiling R1250 , the naked motorcycle, and R1250RS, which is a tourer. Both of them are powered by a 1250cc engine that puts out 136 bhp and 143 NM of torque. They come loaded with electronics like traction control, hill descent control, electronic stability, 2 riding modes and corrnering ABS as standard.

2019 Yamaha Tenere 700 : Pure Adv

Long travel suspension- check, bash plate-check, block-tread tyres- check; let's go off-roading now! Yamaha Tenere 700 Adv is as good as they come. Powered by a 689cc parallel twin engine churning out around 72 hp, the motorcycle packs enough punch to take over uncharted terrains. Yamaha has kept the electronic aids to a minimum, and serious riders would love that.

Honda CB 125 concepts : eXtreme and Mental

Honda teased two CB 125 Concept models at EICMA, and they both look the part. Honda CB 125 eXtreme is an off-roader, you can make that out by just one glance. High sitting position, long travel suspension, off-road tyres, knuckle guards, the motorcycle looks rugged enough to get dirty. And then you have the Honda CB 125 M, which is a supermotard. Honda shod this one with racing slicks and they make the vehicle look mean and perfect for sliding in and out of donuts.
