We recommend an average speed of 60-80 kmph for riding a new bike before the first service of the vehicle as the new engine takes time to cop-up with the driving style and condition. This speed maintenance the health of a vehicle and results in a good performance for a longer duration. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership.

I've been advised to not take the RPM over 4000 for the first 500 miles. Also, vary those RPM's and don't lug the engine. This is from the dealership and several YouTube videos.
