    We have belt driven motorcycles. Harley-Davidson believes in durability and belt drives don't need any kind of lubrication and have a long life in comparison to the chain drive. Adding more to that, power transfer ratio in belt is 20% high in comparison to chain drives.

    Other points are ok but power loss in chain driven is 1% to 5% belt is 10% to 15% and shaft is about 30% please check.
