    Changing the exhaust pipes will not significantly reduce the heat radiation and it won't be worth the money spent. Hope this helps!

    As both the silencers AND the headers carry catalytic converters, the exhaust is choked down, therefore traps more heat than a freer breathing system like I've installed.

    Maybe because free flow exhaust heats comparatively less.
