You need no license or registration in India for scooters that have their top speed capped at 25km per hour or have a motor of 250W or lower. However, The Hero Electric Atria is powered by a 4500 W motor power so it requires registration, and license to drive. Moreover, we have covered a basic value of the comprehensive policy that includes an own damage cover for one year and the three-year compulsory third-party cover. However, the insurance value may vary as there are several insurance plans are available in the market i.e. Liability coverage, Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, Comprehensive coverage, Collision coverage, Medical payments coverage, Personal injury protection, etc. So, we would suggest you to exchange your words with the authorized dealership or respective insurance provider for exact details for insurance.
