• Q. I am planning to buy a bike. Test rode Harley Davidson Street 750. Since you have ownership experience, would you recommend this bike to a 6ft1inch bloke for long drives, say to Srinagar or Leh?

Good bike. Fuel efficiency on highways is 21-22kmpl, within city is 17kmpl. Single tank full takes you 200 km approximately before low fuel indicator starts. Good ground clearance. Your height may be an issue, kindly ride it at the dealership. I’ve gone on long rides- the seat that comes with the bike is not comfortable for long rides. So riders change over to special seats- either by HD or other agencies.

It has a tiny fuel tank...and on twisties it wil hardly return a mileage of 10 kmpl...so your max range will be around 130 kms....its horrible for long drives especially for taller folks....i am 5 6' and i get tired after 60 70 kms max...hardly ever have i taken it to more than 150 kms in a single day..

According to your height, I wouldn't recommend this bike but if you already had taken test ride then you can understand that it suits you or not. For long drives, it's a good bike with 23 kmpl mileage but Big no to off roading due to its less ground clearance.
