The regular rest interval in a long distance for a ns160 would be....1 stop (15-20mins break) for every 120kms....coz it's an oil cooled engine with 5 gears....with medium tall chain....and it can produce lot of heat...so 15 to 20 mins of break between every 120km is essential, which allows engine to freely work and doesn't stress the engine....NOTE:( don't KILL OFF THE ENGINE INSTANTLY..! LET 5HE ENGINE BE IN IDLE FOR 30-60 SEC. and then kill off the engine) this will avoid the air lock and proper settlement of engine oil in the engine case....

Distance is not a matter... How ever your speed or the way you drive matters... If you drive your bike in even and cruising speed... I had done 440 kms in 7 hours... With average cruising speed of 80-100 without stressing in my ns 160 bs6, with just 15 mins break every 150 kms...
