You may go for a wider tyre but It is advisable to go for an upgrade anywhere between the 3% margin for better performance and handling, increased grip, and creating a visual appeal. Do take note that upsizing the wheels and tyres may decrease the fuel efficiency of the scooter and may result in a speedometer error on the scooter if upsizing is not correct. I bought my zest on 2014 and still running smooth as before theres a slight drop in pickup but otherwise this scooty provides you the best of all and service costs me 450 for 6 mo with AMC and tvs always gives you the best durable engine and material no complaints till now
