• Q. I understand the abs is recommended to be switched off while you are offroad. As Himalayan doesn't provide a switchable abs, Is the abs on Himalayan reliable on offroading conditions? Has anyone tested it?

Not exactly!! the only reason why they say that is, with abs off you can turn the bike swiftly by locking the rear tyre. yes the bs4 comes with a non switchable abs but I have noticed that the performance of the abs is not that good offroad. I don't know if it's a mechanical error but offroad it locks sometimes!!! do try it. abs takes a while to activate. when u apply it at a tap it will lock first then at some seconds abs switches on. in that time you can slide.
