Q. Is the seat and riding posture on Interceptor 650 comfortable for touring?

Riding posture is ok but seat is really pain they have put a lot cushion in the seat that makes your ride really uncomfortable.i changed my seat.

For single person it's best but pillion seat is not really comfortable for an second riderfor single ride it's best

Everything else is fine, but you may want to buy after market touring seats if you're planning on going long distance tours.

Riding posture is comfortable for certain set of people but some add handlebar raisers to fit their riding posture ...but seats are not comfortable

No handle bar needs to be replaced because of aggressive sitting posture with stock handle bar. For all other aspects it's perfect for touring. You will have to saddles boxes for luggage.

Yes this vehicle is good for touring...but according to your comfort level..you might need to change it to a touring seat set up. Rest all fine..performance and all

For city ride it's ok but for long ride need to do some changes on seat and yes handling is perfect

Onece the seat is changed and handle bar raised, it becomes one of the best bikes for long tour. Infact better than any other RE's long tour bike.

It's good for touring but not as royal as Thunderbird.

Absolutely not for short height riders, if you think than you require modification of seat and handle bar for better riding experience.

I think it would be better with a sheepskin over the seat. The handlebars can be easily and cheaply altered with Bar Risers if need be.

Riding posture is good , but not the stock seat for touring

The safe speed is 100 KM/hr sometime for fun you can throttle it till 120 km/hr. But it can cruise till 160 km/hr (Not safe)

I'm 6'2 height and I had been for 600km long ride and it was very comfortable for me than classic 350

You can easily cruise around 120-140 km/hr and then only you feel little vibrations but those are fine.
