@ Sudhir | YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, I BOUGHT RIDGE FOR RS 62000 LAST YEAR WARRANTY ON BATTERY WAS 1 YEAR ONLY. BUT TO MY SURPRISE 60% BATTERY BECOME WEAK WITHIN ONE YEAR OF USE BUT MY BAD LUCK I ONLY IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM AFTER ITS WARRANTY EXPIRED I ASK VENDOR TO HELP HE TOLD ME HE CANT DO ANYTHING NOW.THEY ARE NOT GIVING WARRANTY FOR TWO YEAR ON BATTERY, BUY ONLY IF THEY PROVIDE SAME. ALSO THE DISTANCE METER AND SPEED METER ARE FAULTY U ACTUALLY RUN 1 KM AND METER SHOWS 1.3 KM IT MEANS ERROR OF 30% SAME GOES WITH SPEED.ONCE YOU CHARGE IN FULL RUN IT WILL SHOW 45 KM BUT IN ACTUALLY U ONLY COVERED 31 KM....THEY ARE USING THIS FAULTY READING TO SHOW U THAT IT RUN MORE KM WHICH IS NOT THE CASE. AGAIN DONT BUY IF THEY ARE NOT GIVING WARRANTY FOR 2 OR MORE YEARS

Battery life 1200 to 1300 cycles. Battery warrenty is 3 years. battery cost is 65 to 70k. All liion batteries are like this only. As there are many players entering in to the field now the price may come down after two to three years when we go for changing the battery after three to four years . Economics come effective when you utilise and run the vehicle atleast 70% of its capacity daily. By that you will reimburse all the vehicle cost by way of saving from petrol... maintenance... service etc. For many it is a good buy when driven regularly... but for some due to the under utilisation the customer prsume otherwise which is not correct.

Battery life highly depends on the driving style and maintenance of the battery. Unless properly maintained the battery life will definitely be less than the company's claimed battery life. I would suggest that frequent charging should be avoided. Charge the batteries after atleast 80% of the battery is discharged, this way you can get maximum life out of the battery.
