Q. I have bought a SXL 150 cc but can't ride regularly due to personal affairs. I rode only 100 km. My question is, whether it a problem not riding regularly and when should I change engine oil and get my 1st service done?

Atleast keep your bike running for 10-15min. Better if you can ride else brakes n chains become hard. And may break due to no oiling and friction. Battery may discharge n effect terminals.

I like to know how much year is your vehicle, This happened to me also after 2 years old, if this happens to you earlier less than a year then this can corrected by service person by means of cleaning the float profile of the Fuel indicator. If this not helped you the you can replace fuel indicator line with the help of service center, one thing keep in mind if your Vehicle if new one go ask for replacement by covering warranty. If no warranty you know we have to pay for it .

Looks like its normal to every one, one thing you have to make sure of your exhaust not suppose to have a white smoke coming out, this is due to piston head problem. if not white smoke then its normal. and also have a inspection on rear and front wheel bearing, it need a replacement then that might be one of the reason to reduce your millage.

Engine and body both are long lasting. Its a monocoque body and made of metal. Not like fibre available in other scooter. Normal shops dnt like to service vespa because of body n engine which is not so easy to dismantle. Adv is it heavy n feels stable. Its fast pick up. Easy to ride. Looks good everyday. this is if there is a dent, it costly to repair. Or maybe the full body. Front suspension can be better but it can yake bad potholes like boss. Centre bump on the floorboards. Avg is 35-40.

The facelifted 2020 Vespa SXL 125 BS6 features a full-LED headlamp with DRL. The SXL range’s design is characterized by the square headlamp and rearview mirrors. The LED headlamp is more efficient than a conventional halogen bulb and also makes the scooter look a bit more modern. Other additions in the 2020 iteration include an under-seat storage lamp and a USB port for extra practicality. The semi-digital instrument cluster displays the fuel level, speed, time, odometer, and trip meter readings, apart from the tell-tale lights. The Racing Sixties variant gets a unique 1960s-inspired livery with a gold pinstripe, and a windscreen for extra sportiness.
