Latest Updates on MT-07
The Yamaha MT-07 is all set to debut in India this year. Read this story to find out the expected pricing.
Yamaha has unveiled new MT-07 in Europe in 2021. The new motorcycle receives cosmetic and mechanical updates. The biggest difference that one will notice is the new cyclopic LED headlight which is similar to the new Yamaha MT-09. Yamaha designers have also redesigned the body panels to make the new MT-07 look sportier and sleeker than the older bike. The new Yamaha MT-07 continues to feature an LCD console, instead of a TFT unit.
On the mechanical front, the 680cc parallel-twin motor is now compliant with BS6 emission norms. The engine is rated at 73.4PS and 67Nm, a marginal drop compared to its predecessor. Stopping power has been improved with larger 298mm discs, instead of the old 282mm version at the front. It also receives better shoes in the form of Michelin Road 5 tyres.
Yamaha India has never brought the MT-07 to our market and we are hoping that changes with the new bike. If Yamaha manages to bring the 2021 MT-07 to India via the CKD route, it could be priced around Rs 7.50 lakh and rival the Kawasaki Z650 and the new Triumph Trident 660.

User Opinion about Yamaha MT-07
Have owned a big litre yamaha among other bikes and the mt-07 is the best for around town and a squirt through the hills, Sounds good too with an akro.A lot of comments about handling on the earlier models, Mine is the 2019 model and the handling is good.Good narrow bike for lane splitting, Super torquey, Economical with still got a lot to offer at highway speeds.Highly recommended and still puts a smile on my face.Surprises bigger bikes off the line with its power to weight and torque, You just have to lean forward.
Overall, The yamaha mt-07 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile and reliable motorcycle that can handle a wide range of riding conditions.Whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out, The mt-07 is a bike that you're sure to enjoy.
I'm seeing this bike for first time in india. It's model with 150cc capacity is currently being run in india. This is so much stylish and it would look even better in other colour.Such black and gold. The tyre grip seems to be good.
