    Yes it is perfectly possible. Many people have already done it. You can source same excel rims(nearly 25k) or buy aluminium alloy rims from alibaba. will cost you nearly 10k. But then you need to buy spokes, hub, bearings and set them up with the help of an exert. in total a 4.25x17 inch rear rim alone will cost you nearly 22k when you get it ready to install.

    One of the best bike to travel

    One of the best bike to travel couple with luggage, Low end torque is a boon at mid rpm as one can effortlessly cruise in higher gear or climb ghats a gear higher without much fight.Its a forgiving bike on the throttle as the power is linear and gradual.If to nitpick, Tube type tyre is a pain if its punctured rsa is the only saviour during those times.And softer front suspension needs constant adjustment when cornering.But as a bike man it can munch miles making travel ever enjoyable.Happy riding riders.Cheers.
