Bugatti Divo Overview
The Divo is a Chiron dialled up to 11. The aerodynamics of thecar have been completely reworked. Hence, it features a new front-end with an optimised aerodynamic package. Unlike the Chiron, the Divo sacrifices straight-line speed for lateral acceleration (1.6Gs of it). In simpler terms, it corners fast, extremely fast. The rear wing is 23 per cent wider than that on the Chiron. The chassis has been reworked heavily to make it even more rigid. As a result, the Divo weighs 35kg less than the Chiron and produces 90kg more downforce than its less expensive sibling.
It is also powered by the same 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine which makes 1500PS of max power and 1600Nm of peak torque. Compared to the Chiron, it is quicker to 100kmph by 0.1sec but has a ‘lower’ top speed of 380kmph.
