    An AMT (automated manual transmission) excludes the requirement of clutch and manually shifting of the gears. However, AMT allows you to change the gears manually, if required. AMT is similar to the manual transmission, only that the sensors and actuators does the clutch work and shift gears instead of doing it manually. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is available with a 1.2-litre diesel (75PS/190Nm) and a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol (83PS/114Nm) engine , both of which are available either with a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
